I photographed Carol & Shawn’s engagement in the early Spring. They are one of the ‘natural’ couples that I mentioned on frontpage of my website. They are not shy in front of the camera and they both know what to do when it comes to posing 🙂 My wife, while she was editing their photos, commented that they look like J.Crew catalog models. That was her signal to use their wedding photos for our next set of album portfolio.
This morning, there was a slight chance of thunderstorm and as I was hauling my gear inside the Fox Hills Classic, I could feel droplets splashing on my arm. I was getting nervous. Electronic equipments and water don’t do well together. The alternative would have been indoors but I really wanted to take advantage of the awesome golf course background.
On the way in, I saw a small bridge that crossed a small creek which connected the network of cart paths. I would not have been able to use that amazing backdrop if it stormed.
Both Carol and Shawn were not there when I arrived but some of the reception decor were already up so I started on those.
It didn’t storm and all went well! Congrats to Carol and Shawn!
