Mark & Carolyn got married at the Northville Mill Race Village and received their guests at one of Carolyn’s brothers who also lived in Northville. The Mill Race Village is one of the wedding photographers in Detroit favorite venue.
I work with Mark. Â Yes, I have a day job that I love as well as photography. Â I just can’t be as creative in this day job because I am bound by laws. Thankfully, I have a way of letting my creativity loose by being one of the wedding photographers in Detroit.
A few years before today, I also photographed Mark’s 50th birthday celebration. Â I think that’s when he started dating Carolyn.
Late last year, when he was in search of a wedding photographer, the first person who he had in mind was me. Â
My time with Mark and Carolyn started on the day before their wedding. I made it a habit to attend rehearsals, if possible, to get the lay of venue. I also transitioned in not using flash so it was important where the afternoon light would be. Their wedding day went well! Congratulations to both of you!
