Anna & Edward’s Wedding at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish Church

Anna & Edward’s Wedding at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish Church

Anna & Eddie found me through Jack, their Disc Jockey.  After browsing through my website and a good referral from him (the DJ), they gave me the opportunity to  photograph their wedding without meeting me first.  I am very leery about getting retained by faceless clients but I trusted Jack’s judgement.  I have worked  with him in the past and all of them were fun-loving-in-love couples.  I was hoping Anna & Eddie would be the same.

I finally got to meet them at Tuscan Cafe in downtown Northville on the day before their wedding.  Man, they seem to be getting younger and younger every year.  Either that or I am just getting older and older.

We had an informal Q & A ‘about-your-day’ session.  One of the questions I asked was this – Will you be arriving in a limousine? Eddie’s short answer was No.

And in his words, their wedding is not pompous.  Anna then quickly corrected his pronunciation of  pompous – [pom-puhs].

Anna, I discovered, is an English teacher.  On that note, I will refrain from writing anymore what might turn out to be grammatically wrong sentences.

Their wedding might not have been pompous but it was very intimate.  Congratulations to both of you!
